Chad Scott, Principal and Co-Founder

Chad has an extensive real estate background and is the Founder and Managing Director of Tindall Capital, a growth investment firm with an investment focus on institutional-grade real estate assets, lower-middle market real estate technology and early-stage software operating in targeted industries.  Chad has personally led 36 investments with Tindall Capital and through co-investment partnerships, has participated in 68 additional acquisitions of high growth tech-enabled businesses as well as 27 real estate acquisitions totaling more than $750M in transactional value .  Chad’s real estate investment strategy targets stabilized and value-add projects within several asset classes including conventional multifamily, industrial, hotel and suburban retail.  He serves on a number of Boards of current portfolio companies.


Troy Scott, Principal and Co-Founder

Prior to co-founding SW Capital, Troy spent over 15 years working in the Multifamily industry; beginning his career with a predictive modeling start-up developing scoring models that enabled apartment operators to make more accurate leasing decisions.  In 2007, Troy co-founded one the largest and most successful Renters Insurance companies in the industry.  It was Nationally recognized as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the country.   Troy oversaw all aspects of operations from 2007 – 2020 through aggressive periods of growth into a National footprint, multiple recapitalizations and several strategic acquisitions. Since 2015, Troy has successfully completed multiple investments in tech start-ups operating within the multifamily housing space, purchased or invested in over 100k square feet of commercial office space and has passively invested in over 2,500 apartment units across the Southeast and Texas markets before taking a more active role in acquiring and repositioning multifamily properties with SW Capital.


Jake Worley, Principal and Co-Founder

Within SW Capital, Jake focuses on analytical strategy and investor relations. He is passionate about sourcing investment opportunities that provide risk adjusted returns using conservative assumptions when testing the sensitivity of the underwriting process. With over a decade of investor relations experience, Jake has focused on the real estate investment sector for the past five years. He got his start in the industry working for Crawford Hoying, one of the largest real estate owners in Central Ohio. Jake has held numerous roles including Development Analyst where he underwrote and helped raise debt and equity in excess of $500M for real estate transactions and as Vice President of Real Estate Development where he managed over $150M of residential and commercial projects. Jake received his MBA, specializing in Real Estate and Finance, from the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University in 2018.
